Uganda’s own top model, winner of season one of Africa’s Next Top Model and the face of Kampala Fashion Week is really scaling heights. Early this week she hit the runway at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion week 2015. If that is not inspiring for any Ugandan model, then what is? She showcased Tome and Richard Chai’s 2015 collection. Aamito, now based in New York shared runway photos wearing Richard Chai’s signature apocalyptic outerwear, sturdy stripes and muted fall tones. She also shared a photo showcasing Tome’s oversized camel deign plus some back stage pictures.
